My name is Jas,
I am a Singer/Songwriter from West London. As a child I always aspired to be a performer I would put on a performance for family and friends when the opportunity would arise.
Growing up in a home with a mother as a dancer and a father who was the bass player for Geno Washington, Jesse Green and was mentored by the Coleridge Goode made for quite the upbringing.
As a child, I would put on my mum’s high heels and sing to my teddy bears as a rehearsal for the next time my friends came over and I could perform in front of a live audience. Witnessing the passion and drive, in between extensive hours of practice my Dad would take my inspiration and help me hone my craft. Reading sheet music, tuning, timing, you name it, my Dad did it and the start of my career was born.
