The Hundreds Reveals Its Full 'The Karate Kid' Collection Lookbook
After earlier teasing an initial image of its themed The Karate Kid collection, it looks as if The Hundreds is set to officially unveil the lineup with a full-fledged lookbook. The coming-of-age film, since its initial release in 1984, has remained a hallmark of old-school American pop culture, with the L.A.-area imprint's co-founder Bobby Hundreds looking to transfer some of the movie's iconic symbology over to the world of streetwear.
The range’s white T-shirt, sweatpants and hoodie air on the side of good, with a bonsai logo motif, along with the tagline “ALL VALLEY CHAMPS” celebrate the film’s iconic finale battle, while the corresponding black set plays into the Cobra Kai side, with the recognizable cobra logo starring front and center. Youthful in its presentation, the lookbook sets up shop in a lighthearted carnival-style setting, as each set of models band together like a close-knit squad -- not unlike what takes place in the movie itself.
The Karate Kid x The Hundreds collection will make its debut on April 27 through the brand’s flagship locations and its online shop.
